A role at the Associate or Full Professor level in Singapore
- The National University of Singapore is looking to appoint a Director for an innovative Clinical Research Network in Asia.
- The network aims to increase the quality and efficiency of clinical trials in the region, resulting in an improved understanding of drug-resistant infections, improved treatment of those infections and an increase in the supply of new drugs to fight AMR.
- The network is jointly funded by the Wellcome Trust and Singapore institutions including the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore.
- The vision of the Network is to improve public health by developing the clinical evidence base for the prevention and treatment of drug-resistant infections.
- The Director will be an academic and operational leader who works closely with the Network steering committee to deliver the Network’s aims and objectives.

A WHO consultancy to support planned 2020 and 2021 updates of its antibacterial pipeline analysis
- “The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to identify a suitable individual consultant to support WHO in the implementation of the Global Action Plan on Antimicrobial Resistance by guiding the data collection and preparation of the advisory group meeting for two subsequent updates of the WHO antibacterial clinical pipeline analysis in 2020 and 2021 respectively.”
- “Most of the work under this consultancy will be home-based and carried out at the consultant’s usual place of residence. One travel to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in 2020 and one travel to Geneva, Switzerland (or another venue) in 2021 for the advisory group meetings.

- 17-25 Oct 2020 (Annecy, France): Interdisciplinary Course on Antibiotics and Resistance (ICARe). This is a soup-to-nuts residential course on antibiotics, antibiotic resistance, and antibiotic R&D. The course is very intense, very detailed, and gets rave reviews. The date is set for 2020 and the program will ultimately appear here. Registration is limited to 40 students and opens 15 Mar 2020.
